We originally discovered the gem that is Smoakies BBQ Restaurant while on vacation in Cordele, GA in 2021. After talking to the owner, Mr. Steve Southwell (a man with a heart of gold), to establish how we could support him, we began work on what would become a year long process to create his own signature rub. It is the rub used in the restaurant and now you can bring it home to enjoy for those times when you can't make it to the restaurant. Remember, "Exit 102 for BBQ" on I-75.
